Government Assistance for Affected Farmers
In Jaipur, the agricultural grant program has provided substantial support to farmers impacted by natural disasters. During the Kharif crop season of 2025, financial assistance has been approved for 763,000 farmers who suffered due to excessive rainfall.
Following the assessment of crop damage exceeding 33% due to heavy rains, 3,777 villages across six districts have been declared disaster-affected. The proposal for distributing agricultural grants from the disaster relief fund has been sanctioned for these farmers.
The affected villages include 1,597 in Jhalawar, 42 in Dholpur, 534 in Bundi, 349 in Bharatpur, 58 in Deeg, and 1,197 in Tonk. Reports on crop damage from other districts are currently being finalized.
